The digital workplace helps transform organizations

Large global organizations are building digital workplaces. Vocabulary differs, strategies vary, but the direction is similar. They are bringing coordination, some integration and a sense of common user experience to the various pieces that make up their current “intranet eco-system”.
I gave the presentation below at IOM (Information Organization & Management Summit) in Cologne yesterday. The audience reaction and conversation over dinner confirmed what I already knew: the digital workplace concept is making headway in many enterprises and it is supporting organizational change while raising some tough challenges.
