Researcher and Analyst
I have conducted annual surveys on the internal digital work environments of organizations since 2006. The 10th annual survey report was published in November 2016: The Organization in the Digital Age. Approximately 300 organizations participate each year. The survey itself is used as a diagnostic tool by many participating organizations. My digital workplace framework has become a reference point for organizations on their digital journeys.
Speaker and Management Briefer
I give talks and run workshops for senior managers. These private briefings are grounded in data from 10 years of research and examples from 18 years of firsthand experience. They trigger thought-provoking conversations. They are designed to enable management teams to grasp the issues, understand what leadership means in the digital age and define their own strategies and action plans.
I have advised organizations in Europe and North America on their internal digital strategies for 18 years. I have conducted over 120 intranet/digital workplace projects for over 60 global organizations.
Facilitator for Self-Assessment and Strategy
An effective digital workplace strategy emerges from the organization itself. It is not something an external consultant can provide. My Digital Workplace Framework, based on people, organization and technology, first published in 2013, has become a reference, self-assessment and diagnostics tool for many global organizations.
I help organizations conduct self-assessments, combining online and live events, according to context and global spread: self-assessment input from the online platform, webinars, telephone conferences, facilitated live events in world café or live jam style.

Born in the United States, I have lived many years in France. I have dual nationality — American and French. I currently live in Provence, in a village with barely 1,000 inhabitants about 45 minutes by car from Avignon.
The Provencal Garrigue is only 5 minutes on foot from my doorstep. After a few days on a client site in a noisy, stimulating urban environment, it is always a mind-opener to return home and head up to the hill my husband has named “Weather Top” where we have magnificent sunsets much of the year.
